Hydrant Manager
Effective July 24, 2026. Hydrant Manager is designed as a local Android field tool for logging hydrant tests, mapping hydrants, and navigating to hydrant locations. The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share hydrant data with the app developer.
Hydrant Manager does not include analytics, advertising trackers, crash-reporting services, telemetry, or a remote data-collection service operated by the app developer.
The app has no built-in way to send hydrant records, test history, location records, CSV files, or usage information to the app developer.
Hydrant Manager records may include hydrant ID, created date, address or intersection, latitude, longitude, test date, static pressure, residual pressure, pitot gauge pressure, orifice size, and calculated GPM.
This information is stored locally on the device and is used by the app to show hydrant pins, keep test history, calculate GPM, find the nearest hydrant, and open navigation to a selected hydrant.
CSV import and export are user-initiated through Android document picker screens. Hydrant data is not stored outside the device unless the user exports a CSV file and manually saves, sends, backs up, or shares it outside the app.
Location permission is used to center the map on the current device location and find the nearest pinned hydrant. Hydrant Manager does not send device location or hydrant location data to the app developer.
Navigation opens a maps app with the selected hydrant coordinates. That maps app is outside Hydrant Manager and may handle location or route data under its own policy.
Hydrant Manager uses online map services so the app can display road, satellite, terrain, and hybrid map layers.
Those map providers may receive normal map requests from the device. Hydrant Manager does not send the app developer a copy of hydrant records, location history, or map activity.
If a user chooses to request support, they decide what information to include. Users should review screenshots, exported CSV files, device details, and organization details before sending them.
This policy may be updated as the app changes, especially if future versions add optional services, accounts, syncing, analytics, or other network features.
